EverDriven Delivers Reliable Student Transportation With Connected Operations

Problem

As EverDriven grew, their operations started to look like many fast-scaling organizations: systems were siloed and didn’t talk to each other, and teams spent too much time keeping data “in line” and building the right reports instead of focusing on the work that mattered.

This was especially challenging for an organization with a critical mission—getting disadvantaged students to school every day, including students with special needs and students experiencing homelessness.

Solution

TrackVia started by going on-site to deeply understand EverDriven’s workflows across business segments before designing solutions. EverDriven then invested in learning the platform so both teams could build, iterate, and expand use cases over time.

With TrackVia, EverDriven gained a self-service, in-house way to create new views, tables, and apps—supporting both web and mobile workflows—and even using scanning to capture vehicle VINs and match vehicles to drivers.

Results

EverDriven reduced dependency on outside resources for everyday workflow changes by building internally (faster adjustments, less bottlenecking).

They also created a clear path to incremental automation—prioritizing one workflow, then the next—so the system can keep evolving as EverDriven grows and matures its operations. The organization now has a platform where “the sky’s the limit”: they can dream up improvements and build them, and they strongly recommend TrackVia as a low-code solution.

EverDriven’s mission is to provide equal opportunities for disadvantaged students by getting them to school each day. As the organization grew, siloed systems and reporting overhead pulled focus away from the mission. With TrackVia, EverDriven gained a scalable, self-service platform to build apps in-house, support mobile and web workflows, and automate operations step-by-step—so the team can spend less time wrangling data and more time making a difference.
