Our founders have extensive, hands-on experience in software development and publishing, and have formed deeply-held philosophies about providing valuable products to our customers. These core philosophies are:
- Product is king. No amount of marketing finesse can or should overcome a mediocre product, and we're our own harshest critics when identifying ways our product could be better.
- Keep it simple. We work very hard to make things easy for our customers. Our interface should never become cluttered or non-intuitive. Our product should never become bloated with non-compelling features.
- Listen to customers. Our top management shares in our customer support duties, both via phone and email. This ensures that everyone in the company keeps their feet on the ground and never loses sight of how our customers are using our product, and how it can be made more valuable to them.
Our story
Trackvia began in the best possible way for a software startup - with paying customers before the product was even finished. These roots reflect the fact that Trackvia was built to solve real, pressing business needs, rather than to simply serve as a cool technology idea that seeks customers after it's been built. We always keep this philosophy in mind as we grow our company and update our product - we should always listen to our customers and build the product and company that will best serve their business needs, rather than trying to impress them with bleeding-edge features and technology that doesn't serve a practical purpose today.
Trackvia first stepped in to save the day for a $4.7 billion public transportation project that was struggling to keep track of the public comments that citizens were submitting. Trackvia revolutionized the way that the project collects, manages and disseminates the comments received. Instead of website comments going to an email inbox where they had to be manually cut & pasted into a spreadsheet, now they were immediately available for searching/sorting/tracking/emailing through Trackvia.
Other examples of how our customers use Trackvia include:
