Did you know...

Dear Customer,

We hope you are enjoying the lazy days of summer. Unfortunately for us, but fortunately for you, our days at TrackVia have not been lazy! (Don't feel too sorry for us as the Rocky Mountains are in our backyard!) We continue to acquire new customers and improve TrackVia, while maintaining the high level of customer support and product speed and reliability you have come to expect. We hope these improvements are giving you more time to enjoy the summer.

You might have noticed our new logo, and the refreshed look of our website. Don't worry, the team behind TrackVia has not changed - it has only grown to better serve you! We decided it was time to update the look and feel of our logo to be consistent with the look and feel of our user interface updated in March. You will also notice a "statistics" link next to "edit report details" when you view databases and reports. This gives you a quick snapshot summary of records in your database or filtered reports. Finally, we are pleased to announce that we now support 25 international time zones.

As always, we look forward to hearing how we can help you get the most out of TrackVia!

Statistics

Many of you have requested an easy way to pull summary stats from your databases and now you can with our "statistics" link. You don't have to remember the formulas from your stats class in college. We've done the work for you! All you have to do is click the "statistics" link to view a summary of all the records in your database or filtered reports.

Here are the statistics you will find by field type:

Short Answer, Paragraph, Date, Uploaded Docs, Email/URL Fields: number of records, number of blank/non-blank records, number of unique entries, and 5 most common entries

Number Fields: Total, average, maximum/minimum, median, blank/non-blank

Drop Down Lists: Pie chart of records in each category

Check Boxes: Bar chart of records checked

Expanded Time Zones

As our number of international customers continues to grow, we've realized the need to support more time zones. Users now have the option to set their TrackVia clock based on one of 25 international time zones. If your account is not currently set for your time zone, simply go to the "My Info" link in the upper right hand corner of any page to change your time zone.

Once you've set your TrackVia account to your local time zone, report filters like "today" or "last week" will be much more useful, as will report Distribution Schedules. In addition, if your time zone is set outside of the U.S. or Canada, dates will appear in the form "22 May 2008" instead of "May 22, 2008". Furthermore, you will find these different time zones available in the drop down list of our "date and time" field type.

Changes like these are the result of feedback we receive from customers. So, we encourage you to keep telling us what you want, as we take all feature requests into consideration when planning our product enhancement schedule.

Affiliate Program Launches

If you are a TrackVia fan and thought it would be great if you could make money referring customers to TrackVia, now you can! Last month we mentioned our upcoming affiliate program, and we are pleased to let you know it has just launched in the LinkShare network.

Affiliates will receive $5 for each referred trial account that is created and an additional $70 for each trial that becomes a paying account. It is free to become an affiliate; all you have to do is sign up for a LinkShare affiliate account. Find out more about this program at www.trackvia.com/affiliate-overview.htm.
