Dear Customer- Across all of the product improvements that we announce in our newsletters, we hope you'll notice two common themes: first, we maintain a focus on giving you core "data management" features that help you run your business faster and better; second, we focus on making our product easier to use. For example, last month we announced the addition of relational fields that allow you to link your TrackVia databases. This month, we're announcing major improvements to our report filters so that you can easily build reports that help you "find the needle in the haystack" - i.e. that contact or insight that lies deep in the thousands of records and fields in your database, and that you need to be able to easily get to. We hope you'll join one of our upcoming webinars that demonstrate our new filters, or that you'll call or email us for some one-on-one training. Report filter is one of those terms that sounds a bit technical, and perhaps a bit intimidating. We'd use a better phrase if we could think of one, but so far we haven't. But what we have done is to make our filters so easy and powerful that they're now perhaps the most powerful key to unlocking TrackVia's full power. So then, what is a filter? A report filter is simply a way to set criteria to help you find specific records, or types of records in your database. Our filters can help you find all of the sales leads created through your web form last month, or all of the red cars in your dealership's inventory. The possibilities are endless!
Build filtered reports, and leverage them with our other features, and you'll start to understand the true power of these filters. For example, you'll be able to send highly targeted email campaigns to specific segments of your database, rather than sending the same message to everyone. Click here to learn more. "What's New" Messages on Home Page You may have noticed that we've added a "What's New" section to the home page for your TrackVia account. This is where we'll place informative messages either to tell you about product updates and new features, or to let you know about account-specific administrative issues. If you go to your home page now, and you don't see the What's New section, this is because it only appears when there's a current message in your account. Once you've read and dismissed all of your messages, the What's New section disappears until we post a new message. Let us build a web form for you! During the month of May, all you need to do is send us a description of a web form that you'd like to have, or just send us a link to an existing web form on your website. We'll use TrackVia's web form builder to create a copy of your form, with the added benefit that submissions will go straight into your TrackVia account. Think of the time you'll save by having this information in a database, where you can start tracking, assigning, and following-up on leads immediately! If you're a TrackVia fan, and have thought it would be great if you could make some money by telling others about TrackVia, soon it'll be easy to do. We will be launching an affiliate program soon through the LinkShare network. This is our way of thanking those who spread the word about TrackVia. We'll be paying generous commissions to our affiliate partners who refer us trial users and paying customers. LinkShare ensures that your referrals are tracked accurately and that you'll receive timely payment for your referrals. We continue to offer our Webinar sessions. Drop in online and learn some great tips in minutes! We will be reviewing report filters in the May 21st and 23rd Webinars!
