Job Description

The Controller is responsible for ensuring the accurate and timely delivery of financial statements and internal/external reporting. The Controller will also take the lead on managing both the short term and long term financial modeling of the business, the annual audit/tax process, HR functions, and assist the CEO in other areas of the business as needed.


  • General accounting including preparing journal entries, maintaining balance sheet schedules and ledgers and account and bank reconciliations
  • Complete monthly closings and account analysis
  • Internal/Board Reporting
  • Work with senior management to create the annual budget
  • Work with the executive team to create the long term financial plan
  • Administer accounts receivable and accounts payable
  • Review and process Expense Reports/Payroll/Sales & Use Tax
  • Coordination of the audit/tax process
  • Implement and maintain internal controls and procedures
  • Maintain and create financial and human resource policies and procedures.

Required Skills

  • Knowledge of accounting principles and practices
  • Proficiency in relevant accounting software – Zuora experience highly preferred
  • Experience with revenue recognition in a SaaS model
  • Strong Excel based financial modeling experience
  • 3+ years of experience in related role
  • Analytical problem solving
  • Professionalism: promptness, attention to detail, organization
  • Results driven self starter
